Bijou Noir, Merlot, Yama Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, etc. from their own farm in Tenri City, Nara

This medium-bodied red wine is made from grapes planted in Tenri City, Nara Prefecture in 2018. They are grown organically.

The Bijou Noir, Merlot and Yama Sauvignon are de-stemmed and fermented in stainless steel tanks.
After about two weeks of maceration, the wine was pressed and aged in stainless steel tanks for a while, after which it was blended with about 5% Pinot Noir and aged in barrels.

The slight hint of volatile acidity is a positive sensation, and the rich umami flavor spreads throughout the mouth.

It has strong tannins derived from the bijou noir.
We recommend drinking it slowly, with the sediment still remaining.
Hints of raspberry, blueberry, plum and dashi.
